01/31/2002 Archived Entry: "More Super Bowl Suggestions"
The big game is Sunday. Even if football isn’t your thing, Super Bowl has become an American tradition of eating and drinking with friends. If you somehow find yourself responsible for bringing a dish to a party or hosting a party of your own this Sunday, try these recipes from past diary entries.
As an appetizer, try whipping up a quick Tsadziki, a Greek yogurt spread, perfect for serving with pita bread alongside good olives. For a great main course that will stand well at room temperature, try the Turkish Circassian Chicken. Or for a light, but delicious finger food, serve wedges of Spanish Omelet. If you are of the school that you can never have too many desserts, try these ultra-easy suggestions: Peanut Butter Cookies, Key Lime Cheese Pie, which you can make with regular lemons and/or limes, too, and My Most Favorite Brownies.
