11/11/2004 Archived Entry: "Just a Reminder"
I will be demonstrating Steak Diane (and offering tastes) in Macy’s Cellar, Herald Square, tomorrow (Friday) at 1 p.m. Steak Diane is one of the legendary recipes in “Arthur Schwartz’s New York City Food,” which I will be autographing.
On Saturday, I’ll be cooking Steak Diane again at 1 p.m. (and offering tastes, again) at Broadway Panhandler, the great cookware store at 477 Broome St. (between Greene & Wooster Sts.), in SoHo. They’ll have plenty of copies of my book there, too. On Sunday, starting at noon, I am just signing and saying hello at Stew Leonard’s in Yonkers. There will be wine tasting all around me as Stew Leonard’s reopens its wine department, so I guess I’ll be drinking, too. Feudi di San Gregorio, a winery in Avellino where I like to take my groups in Italy, is, I know, pouring their wines.
