11/23/2004 Archived Entry: "A few reminders"

I will be at the Scarsdale Borders tonight at 7 p.m. Then I don’t resurface until Saturday at noon, when I will be at the great Sickles Market (and greenhouse) in Little Silver, New Jersey. On Sunday at noon, I am planting myself at Morty the Knife Man in Farmingdale, Long Island. See my appearance schedule for my other dates and places.

In addition to the stores I mentioned on Sunday (the last entry to the diary), there are autographed copies of “Arthur Schwartz’s New York City Food” at Kitchen Arts and Letters on Lexington Avenue and 93rd Street in Manhattan, and at the Barnes & Noble store in Bayside, Queens, in the Bay Terrace shopping center. All of these stores, by the way, also carry my other books that are still in print: “What To Cook When You Think There’s Nothing in the House to Eat,” “Soup Suppers,” and “Naples at Table.”

All this week, I am on eGullet conducting an online forum. It's almost like being on the radio. You just have to imagine my voice.

I am still having problems with mavensmail@aol. I am getting your mail, but you are not getting mine. My replies are being sent back to me. I hope to have this resolved soon, but if I am not answering you promptly, that’s the reason.
