This and That
I have a new little activity – arguing with my friends on the internet. It’s called Bickering Foodies. They are videos, and, so far, there’s one with John Gottfried, who thought the pastrami at Rub was better than at Katz’s and there’s one with Eddie Shoenfeld at Tanoreen restaurant in Bay Ridge, a place Eddie loves but I don’t. (What didn’t get on this video was my vulgar remark: What the (blank) is with the chopped parsley on the rim of every plate!)

Naples Hotel and Restaurants
You all should know by now that I love Naples and go there frequently, at least four times a year, in conjunction with my Cook at Seliano Culinary Vacation sessions, which are held in Paestum, about an hour and 15 minutes south of the city. Need I also mention that my book, Naples at Table: Cooking in Campania is the first and most complete work in English on the subject of Neapolitan food.
