Table."

L.U.I.S.E.: In the
rear of this retail delicacy store is the best tavola calda in town
- hot, warm and cold dishes, including freshly fried tidbits, served
at a counter. Don't miss the palle di tagliolini (fried egg pasta
cakes), although the cases at the counter are filled with irresistible
stuff. This is the best place for a quick lunch or snack when shopping
at the fancier end, the Piazza Martiri end, of the Via Chiaia. They
make many of the old fashioned baked pasta dishes, including timballi
and pizza rustica, plus frittate, etc. -- everything is first-rate.
(There are other L.U.I.S.E. locations -- at Santa Brigida and Piazza
San Domenico Maggiore -- but they are not owned by the woman who owns
the one in Piazza Martiri and they are not nearly as good, although
they do have tempting sweets and the one on the Piazza San Domenico
Maggiore is a pleasant place to sit outdoors.) Inexpensive.
